We give our customers the ability to select specific pick up dates, but because anything can happen on the road—traffic conditions, bad weather, and other unforeseen circumstances all affect transport—we cannot guarantee a delivery date. We do our best, however, to keep you informed throughout your vehicle’s journey, from start to finish, by staying in contact with the driver, diligently tracking your vehicle at all times, and providing updates throughout the journey so that you are always informed.
You can book your shipment up to one (1) months in advance. If your preferred pick up date is five (5) days or less away from your time of booking, you will require our Expedited shipping service. Please call the Carvaygo Customer Service Team at 888-444-2612 to make arrangements for Expedited shipping.
That depends on a lot of factors. Shipment times vary due to distance, weather, traffic, and other unforeseen circumstances.
Yes. We are happy to change your pick-up date up to 48 hours before the scheduled date. Changing your date inside the last 48 hours before your vehicle’s departure may require an additional fee. Please call the Carvaygo Customer Service Team at 888-444-2612 to discuss any scheduling issues.
You will have to help the driver push your vehicle onto the car hauler—no, we’re kidding. You (or your representative) are required to be present for inspection sign-off at both pickup and delivery. Aside from that, there is very little required of you, but if our carrier driver encounters any unforeseen issues with the vehicle, or the location, or any other unexpected issues arise, we require that the vehicle owner/representative be present to assist in their resolution.
We require that you, or someone you designate, be present at the pick up and delivery locations and that we have a contact number for anyone on your end that is involved in the transport. You can enter your, and/or your representative’s, contact information when you reserve your booking and you can update it at any time during the process at no extra charge.
This is a difficult question to answer as there are multiple factors that go into transportation pricing, but, in general, many metropolitan locations cost less because they require less transit distance than rural locations. In short: reducing distance may reduce cost.
No. Carvaygo offers vehicle transport services only within the continental United States.
Cancellations with a full refund can be made 48 hours in advance of the scheduled pick up time of your vehicle. Any cancellations made within that 48 hour window will be refunded the paid amount, and may be subject to a late cancellation fee. If you would like to cancel your shipment, please contact the Carvaygo Customer Service team at support@carvaygo.com with your name, quote/shipment ID, and reason for cancellation.
We give you back your money. If you need to cancel your shipment, for whatever reason, or even if there is no reason, just let us know. Simply contact the Carvaygo Customer Service Team at 888-444-2612 with your Carvaygo Shipment ID and we’ll begin processing your refund. Refunds typically take 5-7 days after processing to appear in your account. (NOTE: Please also see, “How soon before the shipment can I cancel?”)
Delivering your vehicle safely and in the same condition it was in when we picked it up is our top priority, but in the event that damage did occur during transport, here’s what you should do:
Carvaygo requires that you remove any personal items from your vehicle's cabin and trunk prior to its transport. Carvaygo and its carrier partners are not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Personal items are categorized to include but are not limited to car seats, moving boxes, suitcases, blankets, and other personal valuables.
Personal vehicle insurance is highly recommended, but not required. Your vehicle will be insured during its transport by our carrier partner’s liability policy as well as Carvaygo’s insurance policy as secondary coverage which offers up to $500,000 in additional coverage.
As the name implies, CARvaygo ships CARS. And by cars we mean automobiles, aka “standard vehicles,” such as: sports cars, coupes, sedans, hatchbacks, compact cars, convertibles, SUVs, pickup trucks, minivans, cargo vans, passenger vans, boogie vans, hoopties, lemons, jalopies, rustbuckets, beaters, clunkers, and even station wagons. You’ll note, however, that the list does not include: motorcycles, mopeds, scooters, boats, home appliances, or other large objects—just CARS.
